This is all a little new, putting myself out there, but that’s what we do when we are passionate about something.

Thanks for clicking around, and if you have any questions just leave them below, shoot me an email, or send them to my Photography website, NewLightBirthPhotography or the Facebook page .

Cold Season

You wouldn’t guess it from this picture, but our little Sarah has RSV.

RSV is basically a real nasty upper respiratory infection.

This is the first time Sarah has been sick, other than a small episode with pink eye, and this momma is NOT a fan of her being ill. It’s horrible not being able to fix things when your child is uncomfortable and in pain. I don’t even like typing about it. Thankfully for us, The Itsey Bitsy Spider helps cure all ailments with this one.

We are so thankful that she is almost over this nasty bug. Sweet girl misses playing with her friends and being allowed to love on her baby sister.

Say a prayer for her and that her body gets back to 100%.

Thank you.

Turning 27

You wanna know how I am proving to my husband that I love him? By posting a Happy Birthday post the day AFTER his birthday :) He doesn’t like attention on himself, so I know this action is a love language hug between us!

Here are a few recent pictures of the #1 man in our lives…

Sarah, Elanor, and I are the luckiest women in the world to have this man in our lives. I pray that our girls meet a man as wonderful as their father one day, just like my sister and I did.

We love you Stephen. I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Two Little Joys

Valerie and Kyle are officially parents! They welcomed their little boys into the world on Wednesday morning, August 1st, at 7:30 and 7:31.

Russell was first with Mark quickly behind him.
Valerie is doing well. They are all at the hospital as Val recovers from a c-section, and the boys are both working to strengthen their lungs in the NICU.

Here are the boys. They look big in this picture, but they’re both pretty tiny.

Here’s Valerie with Russell

He was 6lbs and 1 oz

Mark was 6lbs and 4oz

Stephen and I are so excited to have 2 precious little nephews. The boys just had to wait and come in August, which makes it so ALL of Stephens family have August birthdays.

Please add them to your prayer list as we all anxiously (and patiently) wait for the boys to get strong enough so they can breathe healthily on their own and are able to go home and be cuddled and loved by their family.

Also, happy birthday to Valerie! I know she already got the best presentS she could ever ask for, and I’m sure she will spend the day loving on her boys as much as the NICU nurses will allow.

Our Newest Little One

We are excited to let you know that new baby has a name…

Sarah is going to have a little sister! We are so excited to have a name for our newest addition. Her ultrasound was 3 weeks ago and everything looks great. She measured perfectly, and made the ultrasound tech work to find out what we were having. The girl didn’t want to stay still (which is something she already has in common with her big sister)!

Stephen felt her kick for the first time last night. I can’t believe how fast this pregnancy is going! We are more than 1/2 way there :D

Sharing the News

This go around we decided to share our new baby news on Mother’s Day. What a perfect occasion to have all our family together without having to do any extra planning. Stephen was awesome and recorded their responses, which we knew you would enjoy watching.

To start, we gave each of our moms a card…

the card said this on the inside
(which is the picture we used to tell you via the website)

Here we are telling the Wells family
(you may want to turn your speakers down, my moms happy voice is a tad louder than most)

and telling the Ringl family

Stephen’s mom had jokingly asked me if I was pregnant the week before at church, which I laughed at her for asking. Mothers intuition is real folks!

Stephen’s mom had actually made a joke asking if I was pregnant the week before.

I’m so glad Stephen captured these moments for us to cherish and share. On the first video, where we told my mom, Sarah and Miriah didn’t realize she was reading her card and both got freaked out because of how loud she got. Their faces were priceless.

Hope you enjoyed this peek at how the excitement started. We actually made them wait a week and a half before they could share the news with anyone. We wanted to wait a bit longer but I think our parents brains would have exploded, haha.

Now it’s another siblings turn to add some kiddos to the family! I want to be on the surprise side of the camera, haha. Come on you guys, we need to add some more cousins to the mix (except you Val, you’re contributing twins in August so you’re off the hook for a few years)  ;)

Celebrating the 19th

I dedicate todays post to this handsome man:

Today is a very special day. January 19th 2012 marks 4 years that Stephen and I have been married. It was this day, 4 years ago, that we exchanged vows and were presented at Mr. & Mrs. Ringl . To make it even more memorable, just after that moment the Star Wars theme filled the church as we exited the room. What a fun and hilarious surprise that was (thanks babe!)  ;)

Last weekend we celebrated our nuptials by heading to the beach and staying at the hotel where we spent our first night as husband and wife. Stephen took Friday off work and we stayed Thurs night to Saturday morning. It was a spectacular trip!

It was also our first overnight trip without baby Ringl in tow. She stayed with grandma and papa Wells and they had a great (and tiring) baby-filled Friday. Sarah did fantastic, and even took a BOTTLE, which she hasn’t done since she was 4 months old! We are so excited to feel okay about & confident for Sarah to have overnight visits with her grandparents! Hope you guys are ready because I sure enjoyed sleeping until 8am on Saturday!!  ;)

We started our mini-vaca by dropping off our cutie pie

After dropping off our luggage we headed to dinner
(luggage being our baggage, not our daughter)

Friday was beautiful. We snapped a photo outside our room

and then headed to the movies to see the 2nd Sherlock Holmes movie
(which was really good!)

after the movie we went back to the hotel and took an afternoon NAP!!! It. Was. Awesome!!! I guess that’s a sign of parenthood. Your free time is used to do what you dream about… napping in the middle of the day :)

Saturday morning we slept in, packed up, snapped a picture on the beach and headed to pick up our girl.

I may have rushed Stephen when we stopped for brunch and when we finally did show up to get our girl she was taking a nap… I was so looking forward to seeing her ‘YAY’ face. Oh well, I guess we’ll have to try another weekend soon ;)

Have you ever looked up the Wedding Anniversary Gift lists? It’s quite interesting. Interesting and also kinda strange… Apparently year 1 is Paper, and year 4 is Linen (I’ll settle for a bag of hershey kisses, sound good babe?!!).
I’m looking forward to year 6 which is Sugar (and wood?!?). It’s a pretty humorous list, but I suppose if you are creative and think ahead you can come up with some good and thoughtful ideas.

I hope you all have a wonderful January 19th! Tonight we will continue our streak of buying a movie and cuddling on the couch, a tradition we started on our honeymoon :)  Stephen requested we get ‘Galaxy Quest‘. Now all we gotta do is find a place that sells it…

Thanks for marrying me, hubs!  I love you with all my heart and can’t thank you enough for being such a strong and wonderful leader and challenging me to grow in my personal relationship with the Lord, and our relationship together in Him!
