Edible Gaming
Stephen and I are huge board game fans. Whether playing Balderdash with my family, Apples to Apples with his, or if at home it’s a toss up between Scrabble and Chess. Yes, I know how to play chess. Yes, I’m sure you are surprised. And yes, I only learned because we got a Lord of the Rings set and it’s fun that way.
Recently we have been playing a lot of tech-scrabble. I call it that because it isn’t on an actual scrabble board but instead we play on our phones. Phone scrabble is wonderful because that way the game can be played from anywhere at anytime of the day!
If you know me at all you know I am also a huge food fan. Try to imagine my overwhelming joy when I found a combination of board game & food. Not just any food either, but dessert!!
I was browsing a new website I found: The Pioneer Woman, and found the most awesome cookie recipe I’ve ever seen.
Check these out…
Best cookie idea, EVER!

Now I’ve got games on the brain… don’t even get me started about puzzles!

Hey Cassie! I so very much enjoy reading about you, Ringl and Sarah! The Pioneer Woman has a chocolate sheet cake that is to die for. If you look on her site under desserts you should find it!
Save the Earth….it’s the only planet with chocolate!!
Auntie Cheryl Shaw (Shaw’s favorite!!!)
You can do 1,000 things with a good sheet cake! I will definitely have to check that out!!
I’ve never seen that ‘heart’ tile in the bag with my Scrabble game… Did I get ripped off?
I love Pioneer Woman! Maybe I will start using some of the recipes soon! All of the food looks so delicious on her website!
I know, her site is so inspiring! I need to be more diligent about cooking, so hopefully her site will make that happen
