Family Friendly Fire

This past weekend, in the lovely state of Florida, we had ourselves a grand ol’ time.  My brother Matt was in town so we all decided to get together and have ourselves a bonfire!  This past month Stephen and I happily introduced a new member to our family, the fire pit.  With the loving help of a Home Depot gift card that we got for Christmas (thanks mom and dad Ringl!), we were able to get the one we had been drooling over, instead of a cheap substitute.

We did the proud American thing and purchased some graham crackers, marshmallows and hershey bars!  That’s right, this wasn’t just any bonfire, it was a delicious bonfire!

Look at her, isn’t she pretty!?!?  The curvy legs and everything!

Don’t worry about that liquid squirting into the fire… it was uh, water!!!?

Okay, now to the best part.  I have a surprise for you.  I had to share these pictures because they cracked me up all night. He had absolutely no idea, he still probably doesn’t.  Of course, none of us told him so how could he…

I call him: the Chocolate Smiler

I figure he was so happy, why not savor the moment and capture it on film, AND then put in on the internet for all to see :)

Yep, we have no doubt that he enjoyed those smores, there’s a smile AND chocolate on his face to prove it!  Love you brother ;)

Until next time, Happy Monday everyone!

  3. BLAST! Well, my first impulse was to come to my defenses on here, but it seems my sexy seniorita has already done so for me… And it seems she digs the chocolate on my face, so i think I’ll go rub some chocolate on myself now…

And how dare you not tell me about it for all that time…

The last thing the world needs is another punch line to tag on Matt Wells, don’t we have enough of those already!

  5. Dang, I’m sad our bonfire wasn’t that big. Next time, we’ll bring more lighter fluid! And hopefully less wet lighting materials…
